SCHEMA ALGO · THE RECORD STANDARD

SCHEMA algo for grocery.

The record standard behind A2A Grocery: six datasets on one record, read by the agents that do the grocery buying. Built and run by GreenCore Solutions Corp.

§01 · SIX DATASETS

Six datasets

SKUs

The item: its Global Trade Item Number (GTIN; EAN in European copy), its label and claims, its pack, its place on the shelf, its lane.

Chains

The retail banners: banner, parent group, channel, local format, market, cited points of sale, the buyer desk by department.

HITL

The auditor and documents lane: certificates, specifications, allergen statements, origin declarations — the paper behind a product, read by a person where a person is needed.

Economics

Price, availability, terms, promotion windows, order intents and settlement.

Makers

Makers, brand owners, private-label owners, distributors, importers and brokers — each resolved to a verified identity.

Acts

The rules: market status by product type, labelling and claims, organic and novel-food requirements, enforcement watch — twenty markets on fourteen rule sets.

§02 · BY THE NUMBERS

By the numbers

Read from the record at build, refreshed from the door while you read.

  • 999,615items on the record
  • 307,741makers on the record
  • 8,619retail banners on the record
  • 1,973,447points of sale, cited
  • 20markets
§03 · THE SPINE

The spine

  • Temperature — ambient · chilled · frozen · fresh — the logistics truth every item sits on; fresh carried as the fourth temperature on the record.
  • Department — Grocery (ambient centre-store) · Fresh · Dairy · Deli · Bakery · Meat & Seafood · Frozen · Beverages — seats, filled by buyers; health and beauty and general merchandise are out of scope by design.
  • Super category → category — the NIQ hierarchy as a reference column, never the spine.
  • Item — the SKU, keyed by its Global Trade Item Number (GTIN; EAN in European copy).
§04 · LANES AND CHANNELS

Lanes and channels

  • Attribute lane (cross-cut) — organic · free-from · plant-based · artisan · origin · premium.
  • Channel — discounter · e-commerce · local (convenience and proximity) · in-store (supermarket and hypermarket) · traditional (the counter, a seat switched on when a buyer appears).
§05 · THE RECORD

The record

  • Record primitive — every field is {value, source_url, read_by, read_at, state, source_class}; a value with no source page does not exist on the record.
  • claim_status — listed · claimed · verified — listed from public sources; claimed by the maker; verified by a person before trade opens. A field read by an engine alone is never shown as verified.
  • Source class — register (GS1 GEPIR, organic operator registers, eAmbrosia PDO/PGI, FSSAI licences, FDA facility registration, company registers) > publisher (the retailer's or maker's own domain) > trade (association and trade-show lists) > engine (a search or model read with no primary page).
  • Points of sale — cited (source + as-of date) or NULL — never recalled, never estimated; e-commerce banners NULL by nature.
  • Rules — twenty markets on fourteen rule sets; every Acts record stamps its jurisdiction and rule-set version; twelve reason codes at the gate.
